Football=Adidas?

What does football have to do with Adidas?

I've known adidas from only through their footwear for awhile. The very famous adidas sport shoes. I first found out about this brand through basketball where adidas has become the official sportswear for the national players.

Later on I found out that Adidas is a German-based sports apparel manufacturer and consists mainly of three companies which are the Reebok sportswear company, TaylorMade-adidas golf company, and Rockport. Click the links to learn more about them. 
Other than that, I also found out that adidas's main core business are:

1. sports footwear, 

2. bags, 

3, shirts, 

4. watches, 

5. eyewear 

6. and other sports and clothing related goods. 

It is learnt that the company is the largest sportswear manufacturer in Europe and the second biggest sportswear manufacturer in the world, after its U.S. rival Nike.

Nike? Hoh.. Adidas is now the leading brand in the sports world especially in FOOTBALL.

During World Cup 2006, Adidas has designed and supplied the footballs used in the games. The balls were specially designed to have the ability to travel further than previous types when struck, can cause longer range goal strikes which eases the players to score more goals.

Not a fan to the goalkeepers, I might say. Hehehe.

Now, enough of my blabbering. The whole point of this post is to say that SPORTS are forever synonymous  to ADIDAS. No sports are better related to ADIDAS than the upcoming Football season which is World Cup 2010 in South Africa. Enough said.

Football?

It's incomplete without Adidas.
