Bertahlil jumpa lelaki hensom... =p

Friday morning during KIK meeting.

"Jard, mai la rumah ahad ini. Akak buat majlis tahlil" Tengku Mahani, a high regarded officemate handed me a piece of paper. On it was the typed address of her residency at Bandar Tun Razak.

"InsyaAllah kak", I smiled but couldn't make any promises of an assured attendance.

Sunday Morning.

My handphone set off the subuh alarm around 6:30am. Doing the prayers in a drudging mood, I soon continued my sleep right after the second salam.

Drrruummmmmmmm... druummmm..

The washing machine gave out a soft drumming sound as I squinted my eyes. I was awaken by the sound.

"Ehhh Jard! Bukan kata nak pergi tahlil ke? Dah pukul 10 nie!" My house-mate' high pitched voice rang through my ears. I got up and glance at my wrist watch.

Oh MY GAWD!!!

I had to rush into the shower without much thinking. My stomach was also grumbling. Hungry perhaps?

Made a few phone calls and a few minutes after 10:30am, I was out the door with the car keys gripped tightly in my right palm. I considered taking the lrt but decided against it.

I drove as if hell was set loose, into the metropolitan streets of Kuala Lumpur and made a turn at the Bandar Tun Razak exit. The roads weren't in its usual jammed self. It was smooth driving all the way through and I was delighted with this.

Maybe the habitants of KL are still snoring on their beds? hehehe... It's still Sunday morning you know.

Tengku greeted me in front of her drive way. I spotted many of my office mates already sitting comfortably on the floor. In their hands were the Yassin books being handed out by the hosts of the house. Tengku introduced me to her husband, her four daughters, her aging yet healthy parents and some of her relatives / neighbors who were also there.

How did she introduce me? hehehehe... young, single engineer. ehem. Please highlight the "single"..

The reading of the holy Yassin started right after everyone was seated.

"Yaaaaaasssiiiinnnnnnnnn"

He caught my eyes with his cheeky smile.

Fine attributes for a would-be gorgeous hunk.

1. pointed chin with a hinted cleft  - dagu berbelah.. bukan double chin okeh!
2. dimpled smile - aahhhh.. die ada lesung pipit!!!
3. nice hair

And will eventually turn out to look like this guy.
