Dari Cherating, terus ke Majlis Astro di Solaris

Setelah menyelesaikan kursus selama 3 hari 2 malam di Impiana Resort, Cherating, aku ke Majlis Pelancaran IPTV pula di Solaris. Hari ini memang tak sempat nak main internet. Heee.. so maaflah kepada mereka yang cuba menghubungi aku melalui facebook mahupun twitter. Aku kan dah takda PC dan laptop. So agaknya macam mana aku boleh online?

Sekarang guna laptop pinjaman je.... masih dalam proses menyimpan duit untuk Macbook so doakan aku la ye. Nak bubuh gambar kat blog pun payah sebab tiada kemudahan. Tunggu hari Isnin la kot. HUhuhuhuhu...

Malam ini pertama kali jumpa Adam. Depan surau pulak tu kejumpaan. Haha. Seb baik dia tegur aku dulu, kalau tak memang tak mengenal laa. Aku rajin gak masuk blog dia sebab dia rajin bubuh gambar. Setakat neh... gambar2 nya cantik2 belaka. =)

Dan tak ku sangka dapat jumpa Joegrimjow... kawan blogger yang giler lamaaaaaaaaaaaa....... tak kejumpaan!

Ahh... susah takleh update gambar neh... Isnin karang laaa! Huhu. Penat tahap kronik da neh.

Terima kasih kepada adik-adik di atas kerana sudi diambil gambar dan dimuatkan dalam blog aku. Hehehe.. Sporting heh! Harap PC itu tak mendatangkan sebarang masalah kepada kamu.

Lucu bila dikenang balik.. aku letak harga PC dalam mudah.my RM600 tapi sebab ramai sangat yang nak... ada sanggup bayar LEBIH dari harga jualan.

Mula-mula orang lain nak beli dengan harga RM630.. tak lama lepas itu budak Sam kat atas itu naikkan ke RM650 dan tanpa berlengah dia terus nak amik PC itu. Takut orang lain tawar harga lebih tinggi kot gamaknya. Aku rasa kalau tunggu lama sikit, konfem orang lain yang rembat.

Semalam, setelah pemergian PC kesayangan aku, masih ramai lagi yang dok sms dan telefon nombor aku. Haihhh... aku kena buang iklan mudah.my cepat-cepat.

An Adventure I Would Like To Go On With My Pet

Travelling with pets has been quite impossible nowadays. I've never seen passengers on plane bringing pets on board, in the cabin or below the deck. And I can't possible think how else I'd be able to bring a pet along on any trips.

But if an adventure should be possible, I'd like to bring a pet, most likely a parrot that can speak. It's vital that I have a travel companion that can talk as well being my eyes from above in case for any unknown dangers. Hehe.

Ya.. I don't exactly have a parrot. =p

My parrot will be named Nemesis and we'll go on a cruise to the jungles of Africa. I just hope Nemesis wouldn't get seasick and mock the seagulls on the way. As that would come to fatal consequences. And having a parrot that pukes all the time would be a horrifying experience.

On the cruise, I'll entertain the other passengers and maybe make Nemesis sing for a bill or two. Might as well show off how highly intelligent and talkative Nemesis is while profiting from it. I'd have Nemesis posted at my shoulder at all times. If he wishes to fly above, I won't stop him.

And once we reach the native lush jungles of Africa, I might as well help Nemesis in finding a soul mate. Haha. Though I doubt that Nemesis will leave me for another gal. He's been quite loyal. =p

Nemesis is a pet like no other. He'll sing me to sleep and wake me up in the mornings. Croak if he senses danger and entertain me when I get bored. He might help me peck off some wild bananas for me. But alas like any other adventure, this one will have to end too.

If by chance Nemesis found a soul-mate, we'd part ways if he chooses to stay in Africa. Or better, he and she follow me back to Malaysia! Haha.

Membaca punca kegemukan?

Membaca sambil makan! Nikmat!

I read almost anywhere, anytime and anyhow.

During traffic jams I'd pick up George R. R. Martin's book and read. Kadang-kala jika jem tak teruk aku akan mengeluh sebab tak sempat nak baca apa-apa. LOL.

Sampai rumah, setelah siap mandi makan semua, aku akan terus capai buku dan sambung baca. Baca sampai terlena. The only time I don't read is when I go into the toilets. Masa makan, masih boleh baca. 

Dan jika pergi shopping dengan kawan, aku akan bawa buku jugak. Sambil tolak troli sambil membaca. Biar kawan aku je yang pergi carik barang keperluan. Aku tolak troli dan keluar duit sudeyy.. kekekeke...

Dan pada hujung minggu yang permai ini... lagilah rasa malas nak keluar. Aku akan mengurung diri dalam bilik dan baca sepuas-puasnya. Buku ketiga sudah habis dibaca... sekarang sambung buku keempat pulak!

=)

So... kurangnya aktiviti luar dan banyak duduk je telah menyebabkan lemak-lemak di badan tepu dan menternak dengan banyaknya.

Makan Malam di Royale Chulan Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

Aku bersama rakan-rakan pejabat yang lain datang disambut karpet merah. Tetamu terhormat yang datang pada malam itu ialah DYMM Tuanku Raja Perlis, DYMM Tuanku Raja Perempuan Perlis, DYTM Tuanku Raja Muda Perlis, dan DYTM Tuanku Raja Puan Muda Perlis.

Walauapun datang dengan berpakaian merah tetapi dewannya dihiasi dengan warna keemas-emasan. Nak menyambut orang kebesaran lah neh. hehe

Buku acara. err..

Setiap tetamu diberikan satu doorgift dan buku acara yang juga berbentuk majalah untuk Penang Free School. Dato Pengarah jabatan aku merupakan ketua organizer committee acara ini jadi aku bersama kawan-kawan pejabat yang lain dijemput datang walaupun bukan ahli Old Frees Association.

Apakah Old Frees Association? SIla google ye. Hehehe.. yang aku tahu ia satu alumni untuk bekas-bekas pelajar Penang Free School. Ramai di kalangan bekas pelajarnya dah jadi Dato' dan orang besar di Malaysia. Antaranya bos aku ler. Kira bertuah jugaklah dapat hadiri majlis berprestij dan mewah neh. Siap ada orang kebesaran lagi. Hehehe.

Dewan di Royale Chulan sangat besar. Setiap meja ada belon. 

Emasnya uolss!!! Air je warna merah.

Kami semeja makan secara hidang. Pencuci mulut je secara buffet. Majlis makan malam dimulakan dengan pembuka selera iaitu....

Kali terakhir aku pergi majlis macam ini, aku kena menari joget dan twist di ruangan tengah. Hohohohoho.... so baik larikan diri cepat-cepat. *maaf dato;..=p

Kenapa permohonan pinjaman dari kerajaan menyusahkan?

Setelah menjadi pekerja sah dalam jawatan, aku kini boleh menikmati kemudahan memohon pinjaman untuk komputer (max: RM5k) dan kenderaan. Memandangkan kereta dah ku beli semasa kerja swasta, sekarang gatal lak nak beli komputer. Hohohoho...

Jadi dengan tekad yang tinggi aku ke bahagian kewangan di Bangunan KPKK (BISAS) di hadapan padang merdeka dan mengambil borang permohonan.

Sekali usha butiran yang perlu diisi... sedikit sebanyak menjatuhkan semangat.

I've lost much sleep over him. I have done countless counting in my head and somehow it could POSSIBLY happen. He's white, very clear, smart, sleek, cool to be with and whoa, 15 inches! That's something! A dream come true if only I can have him. Huk huk huk.

Pengalaman ke Kedutaan Jepun @ Malaysia

Setelah merujuk Google Maps, aku dapati Embassy of Japan terletak di sisi Jalan Tun Razak pada Persiaran Stonor. Bangunannya warna putih dan rendah saja.... suasana agak kesuraman dek hujan lebat yang tak henti-henti.

Nasib baik ada drebar yang boleh hantarkan kami ke hadapan pintu bangunan.. kalau tak.. konfem basah kuyup ohhh...

Kami terpaksa meninggalkan IC di pak guard dan mengambil pas pelawat. Selain itu perlu melalui mesin pengesan sebelum masuk. Segala bentuk telefon bimbit turut terpaksa ditinggalkan. Giler ketat ahhh...

Kami disambut dengan satu signboard di laman hijau hadapan bangunan putih yang suram itu... rakan pejabat aku je yang ceria di kawasan itu. Hehehehe..

Proses penghantaran borang berjalan dengan pantas dan kami diberikan resit untuk pengambilan visa dalam masa 3 hari dari sekarang. Wow!!! Tiga hari je?

Enuca's Smart Beauty Preview for bloggers

Last Saturday, Farra-eng picked me up from home and we headed to a Beauty Workshop held by Enuca (a new beauty product brand). Situated amidst factories and industrial buildings, the great white Enuca building was very easily spotted. It was a standout among the rest.

Before I start, lemme introduce you what ENUCA is all about. Have you guys ever heard of other brands like Elianto? Bonita?Tiamo? Well, all these brands are under a company called AIVORIA Group. And ENUCA is the latest addition which is dubbed as a hip, Gen-Y/Millenial-type range of beauty products via E-platform channel which is due to launch in the second half of 2011.

Yeah.. you won't find its products anywhere in Watson or Guardian.. or any over-the-shelf platforms in ANY major stores nationwide. You have to buy the products online. ^^

The WHite House. We're finally here! Me and the lovely Farra-eng

Being among the first to reach there, the friendly staff of Enuca, Mr. Edison and Mr Jeffrey Wong (Chief Revenue Office) have kindly showed us around the place. And here's a quick tour on what's inside the grand white house.

Beauty workshops are held here from time to time and it can hold upto 20 people.

Light refreshments were also served to our delight!

And alas... the range of products that Enuca has to offer. All displayed in the outlet found on the same floor as the workshop.

We brought home a handful of these and I'll review about em later.

On each table, they displayed all the make-up products that are available under the Enuca brand. I took a speciall interest to their lipsticks as their casings were all designed in black.

When all the bloggers and their guest arrived, the workshop finally kicked off. We had presentations from Jeffrey Wong, Nicholas Lim (Chief Operating Officer) and the star of the show Ms Julie Wong as the Vice President of Reserach, Development & Academy. All the star products were developed under her care and a demonstration of the products were shown during the workshop.

Sudah habis dua, NAK LAGI!

Aku telah menyertai jutaan peminat BARU untuk mengikuti buku penulisan George R.R Martin setelah menonton versi visualnya buat kali pertama di kaca TV. Bukunya yang pertama bertajuk "Games of Thrones"  mula diterbitkan pada tahun 1996 dan kini menjadi siri rancangan HBO yang paling top sekarang.

Buku pertama siap dibaca!

Beli kat MPH, Midvalley  (RM35++)

Dan buku kedua baru je habis dibaca pagi tadi! Yay!

Beli kat kinokuniya, Suria KLCC (RM37.50)

Dalam buku ini boleh dikatakan tiada watak yang boleh diramal kekal HIDUP sampai akhir buku. Aku pasti akan terkejut setiap kali watak yang aku sukai tiba-tiba mati. Huhu. Penulisnya asyik nak bunuh watak je, kemudiannya buat watak baru. Nak kata ada penjahat dan orang baik.. susah jugak nak dikata.

Apapun.... setiap muka surat pasti mendebarkan. Semua jenis kejahatan di dunia ada diceritakan dalam buku ini. Dari kisah pengkhianatan, pembunuhan, hubungan luar tabii, rogol, curi dan macam-macamlah kejahatan. Dan ciri-ciri orang yang berperibadi baik pun ada. Siapakah akan menang di akhirnya?

Aku akan sambung buku ketiga malam karang. And maybe you should try reading these books too? ^^

Kalau nak makan untuk satu meal katanya dalam RM40.00 jugak la. Dang! MAHALNYA! Kagum jugaklah camna pelajar Malaysia leh survive di sana. Duit JPA lumayan kott?? Lalalala.. (Tapi sebenarnya mereka rajin memasak.)

Papeponn.... harap semua persiapan pergi dan balik berjalan dengan lancar.... AMIN.

Ya Allah, baru ku tahu betapa SUSAHNYA nak ke Jepun!

Aku dapati sepanjang pengalaman mengurus keberangkatan aku dan dua orang lain ke sana bahawa nak beli tiket dan reserve hotel kat Jepun mudah saja asalkan berduit. (Tahu tak harga hotel paling murah di Tokyo Jepun dalam RM300++ untuk satu malam, gilosssss!)

Tapi tang visa... ceritanya lain sama sekali.

Untuk kelayakan mendapatkan visa ke Jepun, korang kena ada...

• Surat syarikat yang mengesahkan anda bekerja
• Salinan penyata akaun terkini (dengan adanya minimum RM10,000 untuk seorang)
• Sertakan passport original. Kang dah lulus, baru diorg bagi balik
• dan gambar berukuran 2 x 2 inci berlatarbelakangkan putih!

Fuhhh..... aku tak tahu selama ini kalau ingin melancong ke sana, beginilah rupanya syarat dia.

Seb baik aku pergi atas urusan jabatan. =p

As for me, I'm going to keep simple and wish to tweet on the go only.

So I learnt how to activate my twitter account via mobile. I had to go through some steps to do so. A bit tedious but so well worth it! It was vital for me to keep tweeting on the go about My Selangor Story 2011 and popularize the #MSS2011 hashtag.

So here we go.....

From the main page, go the FREBCUBE tab at the far right!

And then among all other tabs (such as facebook, love, social sms, etc), go to the TWITTER tab. You'll see an illustrated step-by-step procedure to start twittering!!

Yes, just Type "T" and send it to "29800".

You'll get an SMS saying that you must authorize Channel X SMS to your twitter account. So just go through the steps and you'll be done in no time!

Click YES!!!

Click "Authorize app".

And add in your phone numbers!

 Simple huh? Once you're done, you'll receive a notification message saying that you succeeded.

Oh yeahhhh babehhhhhh!! I am on twiter via THE CUBE!

 And guess what, the first tweet I posted on my twitter was the RM50.00 credit that The Cube sponsored for our My Selangor Story 2011 trip. Ohhh... you guys are the best!!

And with The Cube as our Official Internet Provider for My Selangor Story 2011, I'd honestly would like to thank you for making sure that we were alway connected. #MSS2011 - Never say goodbye @ Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie

The final day of My Selangor Story 2011 has came at last. From sleeping on mattresses on the floor just last night to sleeping on big, comfortable beds in a luxuirious hotel has been quite a journey for us. All 24 bloggers of them could finally pack to go home and resume life as usual.

Thanks to Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie for the hospitablity. I just loved the pillows on the bed! I thought I'd never wake up because it was too comfortable! Hehe.

We had our breakfast quite late and I stayed at the table long after my food was finished on my plate. I didn't feel like checking out just yet. The group of 24 bloggers has now been lessened to half the lot. Many of them have already flown off via Firefly early this morning. T_T

But alas, all good things must come to an end. We fetched our luggage and checked out at the lobby. Pictures were taken as the Indonesian bloggers waited for their ride to the airport.

Farewell has never been easy.

Being the only one still recording, I thought I'd create a vid of the Indonesians departure to the airport. I leanrt later on that Andi missed his early morning flight and Danial's flight was in the evenning. But MSS2011 has finally ended when more than half of the remaining bloggers went home.



I feel my journey on My Selangor Story 2011 has changed a lot of my insights on life. It's OK to go out from my comfort zone and try new things. I did many of my firsts during this trip. My first time kayaking,, first at sailing, first time to Sepang for that matter, and many more. Abseiling and doing obstacle course among them.

And to think I'd enter a pub? A hijabi girl? It'd be quite queer among the Malaysian community but as long as you're in the right crowd and among trustful friends (must importantly trusting yourself), the whole pub experience could be elevating. But I doubt my parents would approve of that. Haha. but as conservative as I am, I never turn down event invitations unless the crowd is not right. If you get my meaning.

But overall, the bloggers and crew of My Selangor Story 2011 are farmost the joyest, friendliest group of people to hang with. And with that I want to say THANK YOU for this joyous adventure.
